Hello, my darling angels,

I know it’s been a while since I posted a book update. As most of you know, I’ve been deep in the writing cave desperately trying to get this final book finished. What had started out as a simple one-book finale has long since spiraled into a behemoth of a book that has continued to grow with every passing month.

Unfortunately, I have finally come to the realization that there is just WAY too much story left to wrap up in one book—or even in a massive 2-in-1 book. At the rate I’ve been going, Incoronate was going to end up being 3 books in 1, which frankly, is just ridiculous.

So, after careful consideration, I’ve decided that the only way to end this madness is by extending the series by one additional book, making it a 9-book series instead of 8 books, as originally planned.

So, what does that mean exactly?

Basically, it means that while the finale, Incoronate, is getting pushed back, there will now be one more book releasing BEFORE it.

That book is Illusory (The Marked Saga Book 8 )

It is a MASSIVE 2-in-1 installment (over 180K words, which is exactly twice the size of Invidious).

And it is already up on pre-order and set to release March 24th.

Yes, you read that right. No, this is not a drill. New book. March 24th!!!!!

I know that some of you may be bummed that this is not the finale, but I honestly couldn’t see a way around this. I feel like this is the best way for you all to get a new book in your hands while also taking the pressure off of me to make EVERYTHING fit into one final book. With Illusory already being the size of two full-length books, there was just no way I could fit a proper ending in it without it coming out shallow and rushed, and that’s the very last way I want to end this series after all the love, support, and energy you’ve all invested in these characters.

So, while that means the finale is going to be pushed back a little, it also means you’re about to get your hands on a massive (double feature) new book that I hope will more than make up for it
