Today marks the official one month publication birthday of Inception. This has been one of the most exciting months of my life. Just seeing Inception live on Amazon.com for the first time was exhilarating. I had accomplished what I set out to do; I finished the book, and I put it out there, and if I didn’t sell a single copy, that alone was enough.

But then the unthinkable happened. People actually started buying it. The dream I almost never allowed myself to dream was actually coming true.

Tonight, as I sat in front of my computer casually (i.e. obsessively) stalking the Amazon Best Sellers list in my category, I found my little book had hit #6. Number 6! I wish I could somehow articulate what it feels like seeing my book there among such esteemed company, but for the first time in my life, there are simply no words.

The only thing I can say is thank you to all the lovely readers who took a chance on my book. I can only hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

    I really loved this book. As a mother of two toddlers I read to unwind and get through stress! Let's just say I read a lot-lol. I really enjoyed this book. It stands out from others in the YA/NA category. I am counting down the days until book 2… What a cliff hanger! I did NOT see that ending coming at all!! Loved it! Great book!

    I was very much disappointed I couldn't throw myself into the second book the second I finished the first! The story, the depth of the characters, the unexpected twists, all had me completely sucked into your book. I couldn't put it down! Thank you so much for sharing your incredible work.

    Just finished and I'm sitting not knowing what to do with my life now haha I can't believe the ending… Was the last thing I expected please hope he has a good reason :/ can't wait for the next one!!!

    I loved your book! Your characters were so vivid they made me feel personally invested in their lives. I loved that the "good" characters had flaws and the "bad characters were redeemable. YA can sometimes be too one dimensional but this was full of mystery, myth,adventure and romance. I loved the base of mythology and the fictional story you created. I am so glad you published your work! Can't wait for the second book. This book joins the mortal instruments series! You are going to be leading the new big YA genre that explores nephilim. This is going to follow the vampire and post apocalyptic genres as the next big thing and I can't wait!

    Hi Andrea, thanks for reaching out! As it stands right now, there are definitely at least 3 more books coming. I might also do a couple of spin-offs to explore some of the other character's stories, though I haven't fully decided on who or when. LOL! I totally understand. Dominic is an interesting character to say the least, and there will definitely be more of him in book 2! 😉

    Omg, it took me all but 2 days to finish this amazing book… I love reading things like that, and very rarely find any books that go up to my stranded. Great book can't wait for the 2nd one!!!!

    OMG I'm speechless with this book. I love it, I just finished it and I already miss reading all about Hollow Hills. I'm in shock with this twist at the end . I just hope there's a good reason, cause I almost cried lol
