06 Nov National Novel Writing Month

I’m not participating in NaNoWriMo this year. Well not officially anyway. I already have my hands full with running my site full-time, shopping for Chloe, and of course, finishing my novel. The truth is, even if I didn’t have all that going on, I think I know myself well enough to know that I would fail this challenge miserably. I mean, 50,000 words in one month? If you can do that, wowzers, more power to you. Maybe send me some of your super-sonic-writer magic beans. Me, I’m far too undisciplined for that. And also, there’s that editing compulsion thing I have.

So yeah, no NaNoWriMo for me, but good luck to everyone participating this year. May your muse be faithfully yours… all month long.
