OMG, you guys! I just read my very first manuscript review and I am seriously over the moon right now. I don’t even know where to start. Not only did she say she enjoyed it, but that she kept wanting to get back to it every time she put it down. She actually called it “a page turner”. A PAGE TURNER! I can’t even right now. Like seriously…

And I know I’m a writer and all, but I I swear, I don’t even have the words to describe what it felt like to read her review. To hear someone talk about my characters like they mattered, like they actually had a stake in their lives is just beyond anything I ever imagined. It blew my mind.

Needless to say, I’m feeling pretty good right now. I’m already working on the 3rd draft and am musing over the possibility of writing a query letter. That’s a HUGE step. I don’t know if I’m ready for that, or good enough for that, but I guess I’ll never really know unless I try…
